El Hamra Passage

As you walk along Istiklal Street towards Tünel, the El Hamra Passage is located to the right and is an example of Ottoman Neoclassical style architecture. When walking along Istiklal Street you will hear music rising from here. It is also the venue for a host of unusual shops.

Hazzo Pulo Passage

The most important and remarkable feature of Hazzo Pulo Passage is the preservation of the now closed shops that run along it. The passage is famous for the cosy café that sits in its courtyard.

Halep Passage

Located directly opposite Atlas Passage on İstiklal Street Halep Passage, because of the Beyoğlu Cinema on its lower floor is known as Beyoğlu Passage. This passage is one of the many structures ensuring the preservation of Beyoğlu’s historical atmosphere.

One of the sites not to be missed when visiting İstiklal Street is Atlas Passage.
